I just went through the reviews for one of our top sellers of our own brand and I read two comments. One was a five-star review that said something like this “very good quality, very good product, excellent price-quality ratio”. Then there was another three-star review that said something like “it’s okay but the materials look a bit cheap”. Both were comments from German buyers that came up in the same month.
The question
That one has to ask is: How can the same product be perceived so differently? To start with, people are different and each one is as they are. Consequently, each buyer has their own expectations of how the product they have just bought should be. Both consciously and unconsciously.

When we talk about packaging
we inevitably talk about first impressions. These firs use email marketing how to create engaging content impressions are either positive or negative and they will spread to everything else. If the first impression is positive, you will look for confirmation in the rest of the product.
If, on the other hand, it is negative, you will look for fans data confirmation for that initial evaluation of the product that you had. It will be more difficult to convince the user that a book should not be judged by its cover.
We already know that packaging
Is one of the criteria that differentiate a 7 product from a 10 product. The knowledge is not new and even if it is, it can be understood quickly because it is common sense (despite being the least common of the senses).
We must get going to improve that aspect. In the end, the bad thing is that it is one of many factors and we settle too quickly for something that is more or less good instead of seeking excellence.
“Luckily” we are still far from that point with some products. It is a process and a journey that will never end. When you have improved one thing, it is time to move on to the next.
