Our IT architecture in 2024 to take our business to the next level

I don’t have experience in running large companies, but I don’t need to because we’re in it. We’re still small, but we’re creating the foundation to become one one day. If you’re a project consultant like me, you bring new things to companies, but you also get a lot out of each experience. From the most recent one, I’ve come to the conclusion that we need to take some measures at the level of our IT architecture.

Implementation of a CRM

Another key step that we are going to magileads: an ally for marketing agencies and sales teams take will be the implementation of Hubspot as a CRM. At first I wanted to do something more basic but finally the conclusion is why work with less if we can make use of the best tools on the market. Hubspot is undoubtedly a leader within the CRM segment so we are implementing it in the company processes. I have also touched on this on another occasion and I have detailed the use that we are going to give it in the future.

Perhaps we have not looked hard enough but fans data we have specific needs that I doubt can be covered with existing tools. We have already been with Holded which in the end did not fulfill what was promised at least for us. This ERP for us will be the pillar of all our processes. We are investing a lot of time, money and effort in making it work. We cannot fail.

Development of our own ERP

It has already had different names. Tool for investors has possibly been the first. Now I call it “tool for sellers on Amazon” although it is evolving towards more. Here we have to ask the question if this own development makes sense and if it would not have been better to choose something that is already available on the market. Perhaps we have not looked hard enough but we have specific needs that I doubt can be covered with existing tools. We have already been with Holded which in the end did not fulfill what was promised at least for us. This ERP for us will be the pillar of all our processes. We are investing a lot of time, money and effort in making it work. We cannot fail.

Implementing a PIM

It’s not really a PIM, strictly speaking, but it has that functionality. We’ll go with plenty markets, it seems. It’s a selection based on functionality and cost. Compared to other leading players like Tradebyte, we won’t pay an additional fee for each market we connect, but only one independent of the number of channels connected. I’m getting ahead of myself without explaining what plenty will do for us. Basically, you can imagine it with an Excel with many columns where the information about the different products appears with the different fields that each marketplace needs. That way, you just change one site and with a few clicks you have it published on x-marketplaces. That’s the theory, but we’ll know more soon.
